I bought the Greenbrier out of FC curiosity. I am a mechanical engineer by trade, so naturally I had to figure out the FC thing! In addition, I like the way they ride. While on work assignment in Germany I road in a rampside owned by Thomas Stingl while visiting with him in Karlsruhe. (Sidenote: I met Thomas thru Tim Colson) After that visit, I knew I would own a FC. I bought the Greenbrier from Rod Paletta, who took it in on trade for some body work and paint on a '61 wagon. The van was painted silver and black and was destined to be a fixture at LA Raiders tailgate parties. But the Raiders left town and the van was never completed.
