64 coupe with factory A/C
- 07/28/2009 - just under 150 miles without incident. it was a very nice day overall. we did a sundae at the corner of 13 and 31 , then went north to 49 and back past central square. then we ambled up to oswego and beyond. then headed south to home. later on we enjoyed lobster rolls at uno grille with ham radio friends. that was enough for today! car needs springs and shocks along with rear axle bearings very soon, bearings got a little noisy after a few miles at highway speeds. i have all the new parts here to rebuild that car , now for the time! overall it is a pleasure to be driving a corvair again!! ...(Pictures at bottom of page)
