Tim did a great job showing us the ins and outs of the Powerglide transmission. Even though he claims that it is a simple transmission, I don't think that I'd be brave enough to try to repair one. We all had a good time and, as usual, the ladies put on a delicious spread.

Thank you to Rita for the all work you did in arranging the after Christmas dinner at Tassone's. We enjoyed the good company, the good time and the good food. A nice way to spend a snowy afternoon.

Subject: CNYCC Thanksgiving Dinner

We all had a good time on November 15 at the Harvest Fare Restaurant in Cicero for our annual Thanksgiving dinner. We had about 25 members and guests, including new members the DeRosiers and Dave Wheeler. Good to see some new faces. The weather was so nice that Kevin and Gloria and Doug and Betsy drove their Corvairs. Phil ate his fill as usual. Everyone enjoyed the good food and good company. Be sure to be there next year.

It was great to see so many Corvairs at the show (about 18). We all had a good time despite the cool and cloudy weather. Congratulations to Phil Domser on his first-place trophy for his beautiful Rampside.

We missed seeing some of our members at the picnic on August 8th. We had a good time and lots of food. We would like to see some of our newer members at our events. Don't forget the Wampsville show on September 13. Let's see a lot of Corvairs there.

Everybody that I talked to had a great time. Our guests enjoyed the hotel and the food at the banquet. The weather was great, and I enjoyed seeing some familiar faces. Great job by everyone who helped put on the event, and thanks to all of you who attended. Tell your friends about it and invite them to attend next year.

I have added a feature on the member menu for those members who have registered (any member can - it's FREE) that will enable you to upload your pictures from Recall 2009. They will be displayed on a page of photos dedicated to the Recall. If you wish, you can send them instead to either Tim or me to be added to the page. However, I will be on vacation for the two weeks following the Recall and will not be able to add them to the website until I return.

THANKS to everyone for your prayers. Most of all is back to normal except for her speech. She is following the speech therapist guide lines and it is improving daily.
